Diabetes is a serious & complex chronic disease, which can impact all parts of the body & significantly increases an individual’s risk of developing multiple comorbidities & conditions. Diabetes can have a substantial impact on an individual’s quality of life & is known to reduce life expectancy when not controlled well.


The good news is, Diabetes can be managed effectively through improved disease education (health literacy) & improvements in controllable health & lifestyle factors (self-efficacy).
